Steve Beatty is Canada’s acknowledged insurance expert for the performing arts, with nearly 30 years of experience providing guidance on board management liability, production and venue insurance.

He is known for initiating some of the most innovative insurance programs in the arts from actONE, to SOLO, and the production PACT bond program. It’s no wonder the largest contributors in the Canadian arts’ scene as well as individual producers of music, theatre, dance and opera, trust Steve with protecting their artistic vision.

As an active board member with a number of performing arts organizations and a guitar player himself, he truly understands what it takes to survive in Canada’s cultural landscape, and has spent his career educating and supporting those working in the arts.
